KICK-OFF MEETING OF THE INTRAREGIO PROJECT

From the 15th to 17th of Febraury, Santa Cruz will be the scenario where 18 international partners from 5 different clusters on transport and logistics will meet for the kick-off meeting of the Intraregio project. The project, funded by the European Commission, will foster the creation of collaborative partnerships and learning processes among the 5 clusters in order to develop regional research strategies and shape innovative RTD and economic policies in the filed of transport and particularly in in the sectors of intermodal freight and transport passengers.

The project, led by the Government of Canary Islands, has been developed with the collaboration of the Canary Island's Cluster on Transport and Logistics and Consulta Europa. Besides the Canary Islands' cluster, the other clusters participating are from Bremen (Germany), Calabria (Italy), Ruse (Bulgaria) and Marmara region (Tureky). The project will last 36 months and will receive from the European Commission more than €1,5 Million.
